Big Bro Little Bro is a website for kids and the grown-ups who look after them. Here is what we do with what you tell us, in plain words.

For kids: Only type a nickname and your story idea. Never type your real name, address, school, phone number or email. A grown-up reads every idea before anything is used.

What we collect

The nickname you type.
The story idea you type.
Which movie the idea is for, and when it was sent.

We do not ask for, or save, a real name, email, age, school, address, photo or voice. We do not save IP addresses or browser details in our database. We do not use cookies, analytics, ads or social buttons, and this site does not load anything from other websites.

Why we collect it

So a grown-up can read the ideas and the director can pick one to be the start of the next movie. That is the only use.

Who sees it

Only the grown-up who runs this site. Ideas are never shown on the website. We do not share or sell anything, to anyone.

How long we keep it

Ideas a grown-up rejects are deleted after 7 days.
Ideas that are not chosen are deleted 60 days after the next movie goes up.
The chosen idea is kept as part of the story. If it is ever credited, we use the nickname only, and only with a parent's okay.

A note about our web host

This site runs on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare can see the IP address of each visitor as part of delivering the page and protecting it from abuse. We do not save these addresses ourselves.

Watching the movies

The movies are on YouTube. When you press play you leave this site and YouTube's own rules apply. Our videos are marked as made for kids.

Parents: delete or ask a question

To have your child's idea deleted, or to ask anything about this page, email [CONTACT EMAIL] with the nickname and the movie it was for.
